Welcome to the 2009 season!
Mr. Myles Ully, our course superintendent and his staff have done a great job getting our course up and running. Considering the spring that we have had, he has done well. Now that the warm weather has set in, we will be playing on beautiful greens and fairways in no time…. Thanks Myles!
Our Men’s and Ladies Leagues have been on the go for the past 3 weeks and our popular Friday Night Mixed League is always open to those that wish to participate.
Junior Clinics beginning at 4pm Sunday afternoons are in full swing and will continue until the end of June. We will continue the junior program through the summer and it will run on Tuesday mornings at 10am starting July 7th. We ask that you call us ahead of time if you would like your child to participate.
Tuesday Night Swing Clinics have really caught on. So if you are having trouble with your game, this is an ideal time to have a PGA Professional give you some helpful tips. They start at 6:30pm. Please sign up at least a day before.
Corporate outings have started. If you would like to stage your own company golf outing, please give Ric a call. We have brought back Corporate Passes and Individual Punch Cards ,so if you are a casual golfer; we have a package for you.
Golfers in the area have been pleased with the new look of the Pro Shop, the variety and most of all the pricing! We have also appreciated the members booking tee times. It allows the club to run efficiently and at the same time, keep the proper statistics. With the course a few minutes from town, it makes sense to call ahead to see what the availability is to play.
Ruth and I have really enjoyed our first 2 months at the Mighty Peace and the members and guests have been great. We have been very impressed with the volunteering spirit that the club has whether it is doing work to the clubhouse or doing gardening in the flower beds…… It gets done!
Have a great golf season!
